Community Games County Finals

The County Finals took place in Castleisland at the weekend.  Tarbert were represented in 9 events with all athletes making it through to semi-finals and finals.  In fact, this year was the first in a long while that we had so many children getting to the finals of their event and shows that the effort they put into training paid off.  Well done to all the athletes who took part and to our sole medal winner, Darragh McDonnell, Dooncaha, who took bronze in the U16 100m.  This is Darragh's final year in the Community Games and we would like to wish her every success in her future athletics career.

We would like to say a special word of thanks to John McGinley for once again training the athletics team.
